Review of Matcha Ice Cream with Poached Plums & Pistachio at HRVST Cafe & Bar by lou

A lot of people who ate this hated the ice cream but I thought it was not bad, I liked the coconutty flavour! As an ice cream it is decent but as a matcha ice cream then maybe not as it needs more matcha flavour (i like my matcha ice cream to be so matcha that it becomes bitter). I loved the blood orange puree though! As with the other ice cream dish, I wish they served it in a bowl as it was hard to eat off the plate with only one tiny spoon and many of us were pushing the ice cream onto the spoon with our fingers...yea not very glamourous if you happen to be on a date 🤔
