Not a fan of clear soups to begin with, but it seems almost everything here on the menu is a soup dish - even the dry u-mian comes with a huge bowl of spinach soup complete with tofu phish cakes and soy beancurd skin. The spinach was fine but so minimally cut, I felt like I'd been forced to method-act a giraffe scarfing down leaves. Also went into a sputtering fit from choking on the excessive coarse pepper that went into this soup. Oh woe. 😒
