Ooh yes 😋 I have no idea what this was meant to be (or even what language they were going for - tres pistaches, très pistache, maybe, but trés? 🤨) but I absolutely loved it 😍 The #caramelised #pistachio on top carried a definite #popcorn vibe, while the use of #whitechocolate helped balance out the heavier nutty flavours and give this #cookie more of a dessert feel. What can I say - Vistro is amazing, people 🙌 I had walked up to the counter to settle the bill, but how could I possibly resist 😍

Okay this is way #toohealthy for me, no idea what I was doing ordering this 😂 There was some red/black #rice beneath what they so wittily called #tricken 😉 That #seitan based #fakemeat obviously became the best part of the meal for me, perhaps with the #onion a close second. You didn't seriously expect me to enjoy all that #carrot, #cabbage, #bellpepper, #cucumber, and #tomato all that much, did you 😏 It's also a far tinier portion than would've been needed to fill me up, I was most definitely #stillhungry 🥺 Vistro is my pilgrimage site in Bangkok, I'm just gutted that I went and got the wrong thing this time 🥲

I was surprised that I was one of only two diners at prime lunchtime on a Friday 😦 At least I get to not self-consciously take a wide-angle picture of their beautiful space in the background 🥰 The foreground is pretty good too, mind. I've always been a fan of their glassware and their #latteart 😉 In this case a #chailatte (or #dirtychai as the menu would have it). Nothing too special but a nice, emphatically drinkable #ditchdairy affair 😋 Wish the serving size was a bit bigger; in this heat it was gone in no time 😅

They have a real cool #icecream stand just to one side of the main counter. Twice in a row now, I've walked up to settle the bill and ended up sitting back down again having in the interregnum ordered myself one of their fantastically innovative creations 😛 This time it was a tough choice between the peanut butter cookie and the #coldbrew #coffee. The latter won, because it was lunchtime and I thought I wanted the extra caffeine in my system to combat the damage that my krapao had done 😛 This had no overpowering coffee taste, but there was enough direction that the #coconutmilk base didn't ruin the flavour for me (as it so often does 😔) THB120 for that puny scoop though, verging on #daylightrobbery 😅

If it isn't my favourite vegan rezza in the whole wide world ☺️ It's been more than a year since my last visit, oh how I've missed you 🥲 Lots of their classics/favourites are still on the menu, but I saw this which I think hadn't been there the last time. In any case from the description I knew that I needed no second invitation - #basil #krapao with #lionsmanemushroom *and* #fakemeat #veganpork? 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 That pork had stupendously good texture btw, I felt like I was eating pork belly again ♥️ The flavourful and #spicy #hotmess was served in this chunky but fluffy #flatbread thing that they folded in half, kind of like a #calzone but also not 😅 What I love about Vistro is that their vibe and pricing and everything is so posh and pretentious, but their food is so street and #dirtyvegan 🥰 I will be back!
