One can’t visit Canada without getting #poutine ! Fern Café & Bakery has been owned & operated by a married couple for 7 years now, and the place is entirely #vegan with so many delicious offerings. Their poutine fries are hand-cut and served with house-made gravy, cashew curds, and mozzarella. This poutine was outstanding! 💯 And just an fyi, it does contain gluten, soy, and cashews. Fern Café & Bakery is located in Fernwood, Victoria and entirely #vegan with a mouth-watering menu of both savory & sweet. This place has been owned and operated for 7 years by a married couple. They make their own vegan chickun in house, and it contains soy & gluten. I ordered this side of chickun with a large portion of poutine that I shared with my partner. The chickun is portioned at 5oz, and sizes and amount of chickun pieces vary. This side comes with the choice of dipping sauce: Buffalo, BBQ, Garlic Aioli, and faux "Honey" mustard. We just love this place, A fully vegan cafe, it's hard to leave here without wanting to try it all! Really good simulated crispy bacun bits and very tasty, mac n cheeze is usually a hard one to get right, but these guys have got it, creamy soft macaroni, the right consistency and a good deal amount of serving. Always look forward to a day out to the city, lunch time is easy here.

Oh my goodness is this one of our go to’s! It is absolutely delicious with the creamy cheese sauce and the sweet and salty not bacons bits! The noodles are done just right and the flavour of the cheese sauce soaks in nicely to them! This is one of my childhood favourite dishes! My Momma used to make it for me when I was feeling down to cheer me up. And boy did it! It’s the most delicious doughnut! It has just the right amount of sugar and cinnamon mixture and the finger licking sugary goodness left everywhere! It reminds me of visiting Disneyland as a child and having a churro but even BETTER! It has the soft fluffy dough of a doughnut and is a really big one too! One of our favourate things to do is go down to the capital for the morning adventure with our 3 dogs and walk them and get them tired out especially little Rockie our puppy. Went to one of our favourate cafe's, Fern cafe , Victoria. This place is so good and i believe is dedicated vegan cafe. The strawberry icing on this was amazing, you get a good size for your dollar. Saw the fresh bits of real fruit strawberry in the icing, really made this donut. So rich in flavour and tasted really strawberry. big win

OMG!!! Might be the best thing FC ever cooked up. Imagine a soft pizza dough spiral topped with pizza sauce, soy chorizo crumble, and mozzarella shreds, then baked to perfection and you’ll be close to this little slice of heavenly YUM! It’s not an everyday item, so watch their IG like a hawk and, when you see it’s available, dash down to get at least one more than you think you’ll need…. Because you WILL want more!!

I wanted to get #bbq #pulledjackfruit #poutine as a side with my sandwich, but unfortunately it can only be made that way if you order a full size fries, but they were nice enough to make me an order to the jackfruit on its own and then I just tossed it into my poutine. It was pretty good!

We saw a post about this #seitan #vegan #chickenparm #sandwich this morning and since we hadn’t been down forever, we thought why not try it? It was really good. I especially loved the #tomato and #pesto sauce. It was a little messy to eat, but very tasty.
