Another 10/10 dish from Cafe Vie! This one has slow braised “beef”, a vegan poached egg (🤯) and Hollandaise sauce on an organic English muffin.
Apparently the pulled “beef” is made from mushrooms, but you wouldn’t know it. Tasty enough to convert any mushroom hater. And that poached egg! Actual wizardry. It has the tiniest hint of coconut aftertaste, but it’s delicious and the texture is basically bang on.
This dish is $19 and a slightly smaller portion than the Veggs Benedict, would recommend adding a rosti or something on the side.
An absolute fave new cafe of mine and my bf’s, will try to come here more often as the whole menu sounds incredible.
