Our love affair with Italian food is long-term. In 1965, a wise man called Peter Boizot knew pizza in London could be better. So he shipped over an authentic oven from Italy, opened the first-ever PizzaExpress and got to work serving the great pizza the UK deserved.

We tried this instead of the vegan hot American classic since our 👧 needed to have some. Quite nice just not a good as a vegan giardiniera 😜! #veganisnotscary 5️⃣0️⃣

This was the winner against the sloppy vegan classic. Tasty combo with the mushrooms and a hint of chilli. It probably still loses to the vegan giardiniera though. Our little 👧 enjoyed the improvised magherita version of this pizza.

A discount provoked the change from vegan giardiniera. Personally these quorn pieces add very little to the pizza. It was pretty average.

Sloppy vegan classic

This flavour combination doesn't work for me. It was made worse by the caramised onion being unequally distributed (some slices had almost none then others an entire bite was caramelised onion. I would rather just order vegan magherita than this. #abillionturns3 #vegan
