Our love affair with Italian food is long-term. In 1965, a wise man called Peter Boizot knew pizza in London could be better. So he shipped over an authentic oven from Italy, opened the first-ever PizzaExpress and got to work serving the great pizza the UK deserved.

Really impressed by the range of vegan pizzas now in Pizza Express. This one I'd not tried before - was okay - vegan chicken and salami with chillies - I think in my head I was expecting it to be as good as a Purezza pizza, but the base just isn't as good!

I've had these before, and normally they're better - instead of garlic butter, the vegan version has olive oil and balsamic vinegar - on this occasion there was far too much balsamic vinegar for my liking.
