Nori is a fully vegan japanese restaurant with sushi, hot entrees, desert and amazing drinks. This tofu bao comes with 2 pieces for $14.00, so pretty expensive. These are small handheld steamed buns stuffed with Japanese BBQ tofu, carrot, cucumber, negi served with ginger mayo. They were good but I wish the bun was a little thicker myself.

This #fullyvegan #sushi restaurant in #austin #texas had a good variety of rolls and hot dishes. This Buddha roll was $14.00 (a little pricey) but it was good. It had seaweed salad, avocado, cucumber, kanpyo, daikon, asparagus, spinach. On top: unagi sauce, spicy mayo and sesame seeds.

I went a little adventurous with ny nori order. Let me preface this with, I am Mexican and in Mexico I see mango on sushi as an option at almost every sushi place (and it sounds weird but it delicious!) So I was not afraid to try kiwi on #sushi but it does not work. I am not sure if this is a test item on the menu but I say nix it. The flavor and texture iverpowers everything else and does not mesh well. Six rolls for $15.00 it is also a bit pricey. Made with Surimi mix, cucumber, kanpyo, cream cheese, tempura crunch. On top: kiwi, ponzu and mint.

I always skipped dessert but I couldn’t say no to this delicious Lava Cake. 🍫 🍨 The whole day I was craving ice cream and when I saw this on the menu I knew I had to order it. I always love the combination of a warm cake with ice cream but this is hard to find in regular restaurants since they are not vegan. This was actually my first Lava Cake since going vegan! Everything about this cake was perfect, the only thing I regret is not having ordered another 😅. If you are a chocolate lover,give this one a try. You won’t regret it. First time at Nori and I loved it. I was originally going to order ramen because I’m not a big fan of sushi 🍱 but I changed my mind when I read the description of this maki and I’m so happy I did. I loved it! It was delicious and exceeded my expectations. My non-vegan husband was so happy with his role too (California). Our whole experience was great, the place is beautiful and the waitress was so nice to us. Hope I can come back soon. 👏🏻💕 #japaneseveganfood #maki

Fresh and also crunchy roll with a nice appearance. A bit mild on the flavor interest but not exactly bland. Use soy with Wasabi to significantly improve the roll!
