This strawberry sando was so good! And look how pretty it was! Since we got it to eat in and we were in 2 the staff served it cut it like this, perfectly cut in 2 pieces with the strawberries displaying perfectly. The whipped cream was super soft and fluffy and the dish had the perfect amount of sweetness. I liked it so much that I even ordered one more to go. This was one of the available sets for lunch in this fully vegan restaurant in Osaka. We opted for this because we were interested in trying both the gimbap and the deep-fried kurumafu. The set also included a cup of miso soup which we really enjoyed. The gimbap was very fresh and delicate, not too flavorful but a nice bite. What we really appreciated was the fries kurumafu, which had both a great consistency and flavor. I loved this vegan egg sandwich! Finally a chance for us vegans to also taste this specialty. I also really liked this restaurant which is #fullyvegan 💛 The presentation was impeccable and the filling did resemble an actual egg (not too much though otherwise I probably wouldn’t have like it 😁). The bread was so soft and the filling very generous. We liked it so much that we also got one to go for the morning after breakfast. Another #curry post from me. Unlike several North Indian curries that rely on dairy products to thicken them, Japanese curry uses vegetables and flour for thickening. This is probably why it's much easier to find vegan curry options in Japan. Anyway, this curry was absolutely delicious and came with lots of fried local vegetables. The only downside os the portion of rice which is a bit too small. Other than that, everything is great. This place also sells other local veganised items like, egge sandwich, fruit sandwich, baked items etc. I would definitely go back to try their other items. I believe, they also sell frozen vegan pastries.
