Another dish I enjoyed at Smorgasborg were these delicious Mole Tacos made with Oyster mushrooms in a blue corn tortilla. It makes feel so nostalgic and happy to know that I can still enjoy traditional Mexican foods and still be plant based. You do not have to leave your culture behind to become vegan🌱 (Todo Verde is not an official restaurant but they do pop-ups and delivery as well as cooking classes!)

I got the Rainbow plate, it had Red Lentil, Garbanzo Beans with Turmeric, Purple Cabbage with Potato, Kale/Spinach/Carrot salad with Ethiopian Salad Dressing, and 3 Rolls of Teff Injera. The red lentil was amazing. It was my first time trying Ethiopian food. It will not be my last! This place is called ‘Berbere’ I tried them at Smorgasborg but they have a place now in Santa Monica.

Workaholic dumplings are some of the best vegan dumplings I’ve ever had. This place is not 100% vegan but these are the vegan mushroom and vegan tofu dumplings. Both are delicious, though I preferred the tofu. Presentation is beautiful! Got these from their food truck at a vegan food fest in Rancho Cucamonga, CA but they’re usually based out of LA.
