This was supposed to be #penne with #vodkasauce and #zucchini but somehow got lost in its "veganization." On their insta post and plates we saw taken to vegetarian clients, it had a pink creaminess that we have seen on other occasions and even made at home. But the vegan version was "just" a tomato sauce that had the zucchini, onions and garlic. It probably had vodka as well but to me tasted like it had way too much salt (my hubby didn't detect the same). They have various veg milks for their coffees which could have been used? I'm not a chef, but am a bit disappointed to be jilted at a spot that is supposed to be vegan friendly. Anywho, the penne was perfectly #aldente. The price was 8€, cheaper than any pasta dish in our village! This is the first time we have been back to this eatery since it changed hands in 2022. It has become a more of a vegetarian spot with cheese on almost all the mains which can be veganized, one dessert option, and a "build your own sandwich" board. It is a cozy spot with friendly service and a nice #seaside view overlooking the port. They announce their daily dishes on IG at the start of every day. #fuerteventuravegan #fuerteventura #sinoesveganonoescomida #ifitsnotveganitsnotfood #reviewwithaview #seasidedining #veganproud
