Mapo Tofu

I’m not a big fan of soft tofu in the first place and this sauce didn’t improve it. It wasn’t marinated so it didn’t soak into the tofu at all, and it didn’t have a good flavour itself anyway. The Chinese place around the corner, wok wagon, is MUCH better than this place. #chinesefood #tofu #mapotofu

They were out of steamed rice so they gave us this for the same price ($2 instead of $6). It was full of flavour! Definitely less healthy than steamed rice, but delicious. #rice #friedrice #chinesefood
