Living in Fukuoka-Ken for two years I came to love tonkotsu ramen. Fast forward to becoming plant based 🌱 and I’m ecstatic that there are so many vegan ramen options in London now. 🍜 it was not the case when I arrived. Ichiran was my go to so I chose the spicy option. It was reeeeally spicy and salty and gave me the hiccups at first. Running nose and eyes but it was yummy with tofu, green onion, seaweed and mushroom 🍄dashi broth, spicy Karaka miso paste, bean sprouts, kikurage mushrooms, sansho pepper🌶️, and fragrant garlic oil. 🧄 I’d try the regular version if I came again.
