This #noodlesoup is so nice and calming 💆‍♀️ It’s not as #umami as I expected but still every bit as hearty 😋 The base of the #broth appears to be #seaweed 🪸, then packed with a whole lot of… #cabbage 😅 I think that’s what made the whole thing rather sweet 🍬 You also get #tofupuff and some kind of #fishballs 🐠 with a #peanut garnish 🥜 It uses #ricenoodles so along with the incredibly generous portion it’s sure to get you stuffed 🫄All that at RM9 too! 🙌

Is this #jjajangmyeon? No, but ja-rang is ja-jiang mian ever truly jjajang at all 🤭 In fact, this was kind of sweet! 🍬 If you’re ordering this you’ll have to #asktoveganize because they do include an #omelette topping by default, but thankfully the #noodles are #eggfree as is 🐣 Not the #umamibomb you might expect but a decent choice if you want to #eattherainbow while still getting your #protein fill ✌️ #veganisnotscary #veganinkuching

I’m so used to #vegetarian shops butchering #nasilemak that I was actually taken aback this!Fair enough the rice isn’t cooked with #santan but the #sambal is as definitely #malaysianeats territory 😋 In fact, it checks more boxes than 99% of the half-assed #vegannasilemak you get out there! No nasi lemak bandar imitation would be right without a #fakemeat of sort but interestingly, they use a sweet battered #veganfish product 🐟 instead of the regular #chicken imitation #soyprotein 🐣 That’s on top of their inclusion of #vegananchovy too 🎏 I’d get this again for just the #vegansambal alone to be honest 🤩 It’s magically #alliumfree but somehow tastes just like the original 🤤 In fact they appear to have used cabbage instead of onions! 🧅 Mind-blowing 🤯 This was RM9.50 at a portion more than enough to feed two ✌️ Super #worthit 😉 #veganisnotscary #veganinkuching #bestpicks

It’s really hard to go wrong with cruelty-free #chickenrice 🐣 The formula of #beancurdskin plus the right #chillisauce is always such a winner 😋 This is only RM9 if you dine in! I was talking to some… friends 🔎 recently and they said not only is animal cruelty worth the flavour 😕 but because of their limited experience with bad, overpriced #vegetarian it’s not worth the hassle either to go #plantbased. Can you name me a place in #kuching that does #halal-friendly #japanesecurry this good for RM12 at this portion size? 🙋‍♀️ I actually could not even finish this 🫄 They give so much #katsu and it’s just perfectly #deepfried and oh such a good pairing with the #curry 😋 It hits the right balance between #sweetandsalty / #sweetandsavory a hundred times over 😇 I can’t seem to convince any of my peers that #veganisnotscary because rather, it seems their opinions are. It really isn’t hard to be #veganinkuching 🐈
