Okay poké bowl with nice and healthy ingredients (spinach, pickled onion). However, the scrambled tofu didn’t really fit the dish in my opinion. But my most important comment would be that I did not feel very comfortable whilst eating in at Hula. Why don’t they at least wipe the table and seats between guests?! It wasn’t like the staff were incredibly busy. The place felt untidy and mucky.

Found this cafe with indoor and outdoor seating at the bottom of the hill leading to the Grassmarket in Edinburgh. It was such a warm day we sat outside, laughing at the fact that we were on a steep incline. It all added to the novelty. The Reuben vegan sandwich has #cheese, #pickledgherkin #roastedveggies I could handle the roast zucchini, but the aubergine had taken on a rubbery texture which is not for me. It was only one element of the sandwich though so it didn’t spoil the experience and I was overall very satisfied especially with the pea shoot garnish which was fresh and nutritious. Priced at £9.50 which seems to be the norm these days. This cafe also has a good range of smoothies available. #vegancheese #ditchdairy #scottishvegan #veganfortheanimals

This açai bowl was incredible ! Firstly, it’s packed with just about everything: cacao nibs, granola, goji berries, blueberries, chia seeds, bananas, coconut chips, topping a berry smoothie. It’s a bit like having warm ice cream with amazing toppings

I really wanted to enjoy this, been after a smoothie bowl for ages and it was a really hot day. The toppings were really good but the smoothie itself just didn’t quite hit, tasted too milky for my taste, not enough like a berry smoothie. My sister loved it though.

Simple but nice falafel and houmous wrap. Good mix of raw and cooked vegetables, sweet chilli sauce was good and not overpowering. Perfect size, falafel itself was nice. Pretty expensive though.

So tasty and healthy! Massive portion and full of healthy foods so don’t feel bad 😄 they had run out of smoked tofu so they gave me falafel instead which worked just as well. Very happy.
