A wheat tortilla with a spread of cream cheese, a slice of bolognese-style bacon, cranberries I think, and some peppers. These cute, tasty and colorful little morsels would be a nice choice to take to a potluck if you’re short on time and just want to pick up something real quick, or even if you just want a little #snack while #onthego. This was my first time seeing this though, although I don’t visit this DTE very often. I’ve never seen this at the two locations near my home and work. #veganoahu #pinwheel #appetizer

This dessert is simply decadent. So rich and moist. Even if taste were the only issue, there’s no reason to consume animal products. No one could prepare a non-vegan pumpkin cheesecake that would taste better. I sat in the upstairs dining area to get a little work done on my laptop and savor this cheesecake. Relaxing and convenient. #hawaiivegan

Get a Vegan Society of Hawai’i membership card, and get a 5% discount at Down to Earth for prepared food, such as this amazing cheesecake. I had spent the day traveling from Maui and then taking care of some business. So I hadn’t eaten all day when I strolled into DTE in the late afternoon, and this cheesecake caught my eye. So this dessert was my “breakfast” and “lunch.” No regrets! 😋 #OahuVegan

This shake substituted with soy-based ice cream and soy milk (there’s other plant milk options too) is one of my favorites. My friend picked up a can of Olipop Cherry Vanilla Sparkling Tonic and asked me to pick out a milk shake for #nationalicecreamsodaday, so of course this is what I chose. Wow, we both agreed that this combo was the bomb! We couldn’t stop talking about how great it was while eating this. #veganoahu

Good variety of veggies but the tomatoes sauce was overpowering. I think I would have liked it more if they added more firmer textures, like tofu, jackfruit or tvp and some plant based cheese for some creaminess. The dough was a little too grainy also. I enjoyed this with a salad though.
