Parkour-mad kid found a new weekend haunt in Geylang, and the weather was HOT. We located this Chinese vegetarian eatery and I zoomed in on this braised 'pork' trotter wok-fried bee hoon (rice vermicelli) almost immediately, as my mum used to make this dish with canned pork trotters when I was a child. I liked this version with mushrooms, leafy greens, chestnuts, soy-based protein and the thinnest bee hoon ever! It was a tad dry and could use more sauce though.
