I really like Boni at Budd. It's a small market stand specializing in Filipino street food and sister to the Columbus Bonifacio. They have 3 #vegan bbq tofu bowl options (market, street, and pancit style) I had the traditional market style last time so, this time had the pancit noodles. The bowl was filled with garlic pancit noodles, house slaw, fire roasted corn, garlic vinaigrette, and really delicious fried bbq #tofu. I honestly prefer the rice, these rice #noodles were super rich with a lot of garlic. The prices did go up and the portion size went down, so it was a tad expensive at $18 after tip. Perfectly fried tofu, cooked well - not too soft. Sweet chili sauce was a perfect mix of #sweet and #spicy. So this skewer was great, but we didn't get the best value. We just got one to try for $4, but I'd recommend getting one of the packs because they come with a free side. These had a GREAT flavor. I loved this Asian style #BBQ sauce. The deep fried tofu was great as well. It definitely wasn't a healthy food by any means, but it was still a good source of #protein. It's a simple side, but it's fun to add to your meal. These made a great side dish to the Filipino street food spread. These traditional Filipino #stirfried rice #noodles had a #delicious sweet and savory sauce and a mix of fresh snow peas, cabbage, carrot, celery, and onion. I was a big fan of the sauce as it was a perfect combination of #sweet but also had a bit of savory. I just wish these had a bit more of the sauce on them as they got a bit dry towards the bottom. I should have mixed it a bit more, so tip for next time. This looks like a small cup, but they were super filling, and they were a good value for $4. I would order these again! This is one of the best bowls I've had in a long time. This is located in the Budd Dairy Food Hall. An old dairy processing plant in Columbus was converted into a really cool place. Gross name, I know. One floor is a food hall, and a few smaller restaurants, the second floor is a bar and game room and the have a huge rooftop bar. This stand had a lot of #vegan options, this one being my favorite. You can choose the bowl thee ways, I chose "market style." They each have different ingredients, and the market style is described as being "fresher" which sounded good on a hot day. The bowl had deep-fried #tofu cubes tossed in sweet #chili sauce. It then had housemade slaw, fire roasted corn ensalada, garlic vinaigrette on a large bed of garlic annato rice. It had so many wonder flavors. I just loved it, and the fresh sauces were great. It was a large portion as well for $15. They have multiple dining areas to choose from, and we picked a nice outdoor shaded bench. #vegan #veganisnotscary #abillionlove #veganbowls
