
1924! That’s the year that Singapore’s oldest vegetarian restaurant opened. Ananda Bhavan just kicked off their 101st year since Viren Ettikan’s grandfather opened the restaurant. It’s been feeding generations of families from around the world that call Singapore home. One of the best parts of my job is meeting other passionate business owners. They get what we’re trying to accomplish with abillion. Today’s meal is one of my favorite classic Indian meals. A rava dosa is a twist on a traditional dosa. Instead of rice flour it’s made from cream of wheat, which makes it crispier and a lot more fun to eat. Served with coconut chutney it becomes one of those meals that takes me back to memories with my own grandfather. This dosa was perfect in every way!
