Small fries that came with the meal. Fries were alright, not super amazing. Not oily. Served with ketchup on the side. The last time I patronised The Rebel Gurl was when they were still at Somerset! Nice to see that they are now at a gorgeous shophouse.

Enjoyed this sandwich! Consisting of vegan dynameat patties, avocado salsa, tomato, lettuce, coriander, vegan mayo wedged between a baguette. All the ingredients came together very nicely and it’s filling! Love the vibe at The Rebel Gurl. Would order again! Price: $9.90 (ala carte), $14.90 (meal comes with side and drink)

I think Rebel has now moved on from Somerset to Lavender, and set up a new shop called OBOY as well. That’s good news because these banh mis are so good! It comes with vegan Quorn fillet, guacamole, and vegan mayonnaise. I ask for no coriander because I prefer my food to not taste like soap - and most of the time they remember to follow that request too.

This is my first 5 star review woot! Love bahn mi sandwiches a lot hehe. I customised mine because the vegan option seemed a bit too much. The base price for the bread, asian slaw, coriander (I took it out), rebel sauce and mayo (vegan option available) is $2. Adding on tempeh made my sandwich come up to $4.90 which is super affordable especially for the portion size. Definitely recommend giving this a shot! Really filling and satisfying meal.
