Typical dosai, which is usually made with rice and lentils and this is a healthier version where they usually substitute the rice with a millet. Colour is slightly different from the default ones, this one is a bit more brown inside. Not as soft as the regular dosai because of the millet in it but isn’t too hard too. Deliciously soft dosai served with three types of chutneys (coconut chutney, peanut chutney and tomato/chilli chutney), sambar and podi (spicy lentils powder mixed with sesame oil). I loved the tomato chutney and peanut chutney the most as I’m personally not a fan of the regular coconut chutney (grew up eating a lot of em and now to a point I hate em). The podi is always a great side for the dosai and their sambar is pretty good too. Highly recommended, do try this out if you get to visit this place. Please do remind them not to use ghee on the dosai. They don’t seem to be using it usually, but better to be safe just in case.

This one is so much home-like, rarely you find these kinda quality on Vadai. This looks, feels and tastes exactly like how it is made at home. So soft yet crispy and delicious. Served with coconut chutney and sambar. Loved it!

This is one of my favourites from this restaurant since last time ( the previous management, before they went into the renovation ) and glad that they still have it on their menu. The Dosa batter was made with green beans ( usually its rice and lentils ) and the colour is a slightly darker green. Comes with two types of chutneys ( peanut and coconut ) and sambar which are vegan by default. Do avoid the sweet ( which contains ghee ) and the main side ( placed on top of the dosa ) I confirmed with the waiter and found it is actually paneer which is diary so had to keep it aside. Lesson learned: They seem to understand what’s vegan but still need to be careful with their sides. Double confirm all of it before eating em. The dosa tastes great, not same as regular dosas this won’t be too thin and crispy but a bit thick and softer. Peanut chutney tastes better than the coconut chutney. Sambar is great. Healthy stuff on the menu, do try it out.

Realised this restaurant reopened after a long break but they said it’s a different management. The menu still looks the same. Tried their Chapati meal to start with. (Do ask for vegan options so they avoid the curd / paneer based sides and sweet) The sides are great and filling, but the chapati was a bit harder. Quite a large portion.

My go-to dish whenever I visit this restaurant. The dosa is super crispy filled with potato and is served along with sambhar and 2 varieties of chutneys. Sambhar is made of lentils and tamarind puree with some vegetables in it. One of the chutney's is made of tomato and the other with grated coconut. This dish represents authentic South Indian flavor.

#veganized by removing a yogurt-based curry and the dessert. The remaining sides were yam and black eyed beans cooked with green beans and shredded coconut. Sambar and rasam are brought around by the waitstaff after you're served the plate, and extra portions of anything in the meal are served at no extra charge. Be sure to try the red chilli pickle, and consider requesting whole green chillis on the side to bite right into if you can handle 'em! 😍 You must request that anything with dairy (usually ghee, milk or yoghurt) be removed to make it vegan. Honestly, all the food here feels like home cooking - nothing is too oily or excessively indulgent - and it's certainly a satisfying meal. This thali is priced at about $10.

This South-Indian meals Thali is more than just multiple dishes on a plate. A Sattvic meal put together keeping Ayurveda principles in mind, it comprises of different dishes with the six essential tastes per Ayurveda for a balanced meal - sweet, sour, salty, astringent, bitter and pungent. I have had multiple versions of this Thali over the last few years and have never been disappointed. No other restaurant meal makes me feel as content as this Thali. The place can be a bit disorderly during peak hours, suggest going earlier for your lunch or dinner for a more prompt service. Ask them to exclude the yoghurt and any dishes cooked with ghee for a Vegan version.
