Sounds a tad absurd to be at Rochor Beancurd but not have its namesake or the youtiao dough fritters - but that's exactly what it was. This curry puff (staff says it's not handmade but from a supplier) is vegetarian with no egg. It was average, with mushy potato filling, but nom-ish enough for a snack on the go.

A fair bit oily, still slightly hot, quite doughy, which is great if only I could dip it directly into my soy milk (but it came pre-packaged sealed bubble tea style and too troublesome to cut open☹️). Not the most tasty fritters but passable if you just looking for that greasy local accompanying side snack for your soy buys. Apologies for the poor lightning & photos as we were literally seated at the alley way out by the store roadside

Drink comes in looking slightly brown probably because of some grass jelly liquid mixed in, but essentially a soy milk with grass jelly bits floating in & isn’t too sweet! $2. Seems like the OG bubble tea drink where you have milk with bits inside haha. But they also have soy milk with pearls option! Otherwise known as Michael Jackson in Singapore 😅

They didn’t seem to have the no sugar version or my friend who ordered didn’t clarify properly. Friends who normally consume sweet stuff found this wasnt too sweet or even sweet at all, but I definitely tasted the sugar 😬

Requested for no sugar and indeed no sugar in this one! But otherwise they give you one with sugar by default. All drinks and Beancurds are pre-packaged. Quite dull, plain-tasting which is good if you are just looking for a thirst-quencher! $1.50

Even at 1030pm these fritters were still served up crisp, hot as though quite freshly fried. Suppose cos they have the demand even at night! Not too bad since it’s a must-have pairing for soy products although still slightly doughy

Great, cheap supper finds! I missed out on the warm tau huey but this was incredible soft. Can opt for unsweetened too
