Cost: $4 for brown rice (+$0.20 takeaway) I actually queued A WHOLE HOUR for this 😢 Super surprised no one left the queue because I was really mostly there because I hardly go to the west, and I just really like leichafan. I think the draw for other people is for the Hakka yongtaufoo? This leichafan was pretty good - assortment of veggies. The tofu was a bit more clumped together rather than in individual pieces. The peanuts & ikan bilis are a key ingredient for crunch and saltiness, otherwise the veg alone would make the overall meal feel on the sweeter end. (saying this cos I forgot to add them in until halfway through and kept thinking it’s lacked something 😳💩 but was perfect after adding hahaha) ikan bilis is rly one of the less fried/salty versions 👍🏻but please eliminate to make dish veg. Forgot to take photo of the lei cha soup cos I don’t normally eat it oops. But worthwhile - good taste and portion for the price, if you don’t mind the wait. I went on a Saturday reached at 12pm.
