🍫🍰 Oh my! This was a divine #chocolate #cake when I’m not even so much a fan of them. It’s made of rich #organic Belgian🇧🇪 #darkchocolate ganache infused with salted 🧂caramel and a hint of #peanutbutter 🥜which is what made it for me. It was moist and decadent but I couldn’t get enough. I worried it would be too rich but it was perfect. Like many of their dishes they can make this #glutenfree for you for an extra charge but there’s limited availability. It’s probably worth calling 📞in advance for that. We also got the lemon 🍋lavender cake again which was just awesome too. 🌱 #plantbased #veganrestaurant that will really knock your socks off! We got this when they had run out of the aubergine/eggplant sadly but it was a wonderful choice. While very pricey for us, it was awesome. The #vegansalmon looked and tasted very close to the original and even flaked like fish 🐟does. The menu describes that this is eco friendly and made from fermented #soy 🫛with 20 grams of #protein per serving and lots of omega 3s. It was served with a delectable #garlic 🧄baby #spinach 🌿and smooth #potato 🥔purée. There’s also a🍋 #lemon #capers #butter 🧈over the top. The attention to detail is impressive. It was all delicious though as was everything we ate here and feels like a must visit in the area. My partner didn’t want to come seeing the prices but then was very impressed by all we ate. It really tasted of blue cheese to me and had caramelized #walnuts #arugula and a port wine #balsamic vinaigrette. It was $18 and #glutenfree. While almost everything here is made in house they do use Rebel Cheese 🧀I believe for their cheese boards and perhaps this blue. My father said he liked arugula after eating some of this and that is a huge succes for a man who refuses to eat almost all vegetables. This #veganrestaurant was a tranquil oasis from the hustle and bustle. While it was busy at times the server couldn’t have been friendlier or more pleasant despite her being slow due to being the sole person on the floor and bar. This #french #onion #soup was yummy with croutons and homemade #cashew mozzarella gratinée. It was very #peppery which made my dad describe it as #spicy. 🇺🇸🍋🍰 Oh my goodness. 🤤🤤🤤 This #lemon and #lavender cake was divine as well. It was super moist with homemade #lemoncurd and lemony #creamcheese #frosting. We think that’s some lavender bits on top which my father joked looked like cigarette 🚬ash. 😆 we couldn’t detect the lavender at all really. This is an #allveganrestaurant with delicious food and lovely friendly service which was at times a bit slow as there was only the one server for hosting, serving and making drinks 🍹etc. Poor thing. We will be back for sure to try more things on the menu. It’s the kind of place you want to try everything. This was pricey like everything on the menu at $10.50 but it’s all homemade and delicious. My very non-vegan aunt ordered this plant filet. Apparently, she loves a filet mignon and she really enjoyed this plant based version! She has never eaten plant based items and is not very adventurous so I was so pleased that she truly enjoyed everything. Made of soy and wheat, sea salt and colored with beets, the flavor and texture was far too real for me, so I wouldn't order it, but it did taste good. I highly recommend Ka Papa in Sarasota but definitely be prepared to spend some $$, since everything is house made with high quality ingredients. It's also in an upscale, touristy area so reservations are definitely suggested.
