I’m a little lad who likes berries and cream. This was another amazing dessert which Raízes had available. The crunchy part was not soggy at all, it was crunchy and tasty just like the rest. A great way to end lunch.

This dessert made with persimmon and cinnamon was very sweet, but no sugar is added. Very tasty. Raízes had plenty of desserts on this day, which made it hard to choose. All of them looked great.

The typical Portuguese bean stew, made vegan. With sides of tomato, cucumber, lettuce, rice and a pastel. Raízes is a buffet restaurant and had other sides available to choose from. Very cheap, very tasty, very friendly staff. A must visit when travelling around this part of Portugal.

The lasagna was very tasty and very fresh. The restaurant Raízes serves buffet style meals and you can choose what to go with it. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrot or cabbage salad, rice and pastéis, among other all vegan options. The prices are very cheap, very clean and very friendly staff. There is parking nearby. Make sure to visit this place when visiting this part of Portugal. What a great find.
