I’m glad I got to try this sweet potato cookie from Mori Café for we don’t see much sweet stuffs using sweet potato around here. It was rather good but not to the point I would have it again. The texture was nice as the cookie was moist and gently crumbly. Unfortunately I could taste the baking soda used to make it.

The picture really doesn’t do this dish justice. The rice was perfectly cooked and the curry sauce was smooth, spicy and super flagrant. The veggies were lovely as well. There were sweet potatoes, broccoli, carrot and a crunchy slice of fried lotus root. Such a wholesome and comforting dish 😊 It is a bit pricier than your average rice dish so I wouldn’t have this too often, but it is delicious!

Quite an original sweet treat which you can get at Mori Café 🍵🥢 It is a matcha cake that comes with chestnut’s puree and yummy whipped cream. You’ll also find some small chestnut chunks at the bottom of the cake. I found the combo interestingly: the chestnut sweetsness pairs really well with the gently earthy and unsweetened matcha flavour. I wouldn’t call this cake a must try but it does taste (and look) good, plus I really like how it changes from what you can usually get in vegan cafés, bakeries and restaurants!

I enjoyed it - it was good 'latté' made with Soya milk, syrup and some mild spices (I could taste cinnamon). Was a good hot drink for the winter.

My daughter had this ramen dish and I obviously had to try some! The broth is really creamy, it's not too salty and has a lot of veggies. This restaurant is totally recommended. Be prepared to wait because it's a small place and it's rightly popular.

This vegan dish is made up of seasoned rice, a few slices of cucumber and what looks like fried fish. I don't know what the "fish" is made of but it was absolutely delicious, the texture was flaky and full of flavour. The rice was seasoned beautifully, it wasn't plain rice. This restaurant is incredible. It's quite small so it gets busy easily.

Apologies for the blurry photo, I was too excited to eat it to take a good picture 😅 so good, I believe they used oat milk, shichimi and sesame seeds for the broth and its phenomenal. Possibly the best ramen I've ever had 😳
