Stalk & Spade has some of the best fast food style fries. They're thin, crispy, and salty. They're perfect for dipping in a shake or ice cream. They're strong enough to hold up to the weight! I usually opt for a shake, but decided on soft serve this time thinking it would be a smaller serving. I think it ended up being about the same size! It's definitely a much cheaper option at $3.95 instead of $6.95. You can get it in a bowl or cone. I wasn't feeling the mess today, so I just settled with a bowl. You can also choose between vanilla, chocolate, or twist. I enjoyed the twist. There are also toppings for $0.85 each. This Caesar deviates from the traditional quite a bit, but it's flavorful and I could definitely see myself getting it again. It has tomatoes, red cabbage, parmesan, croutons, Caesar dressing, and your choice of crispy or grilled chick'n. The parmesan really came through well. Choosing a salad at Stalk &Spade is a first for me! We walked here from First Ave after getting our table for a show, and I just wasn't feeling something heavy for the walk back, so I decided to try out a salad. This was a really nice option! I always love a crispy ingredient in a salad, so I appreciate the tortilla strips on top. The chipotle ranch dressing was a really nice creamy choice. It added a lot of flavor to the salad. This salad also has cheddar, tomatoes, grilled corn & poblano, and your choice of grilled or crispy chick'n. So delicious! This is the kind of fast food I love. Delicious but also pretty nutritious. It’s not quite while food plant based, but it is pretty good. The chick’n texture and taste is on point. I'm so happy there's a Stalk & Spade in Minneapolis now! I picked the Southwest burger this time. It wasn't the best. It felt like there wasn't enough sauce, so the sandwich felt a bit dry. The sauce that was there was spicy and flavorful. #burger

My usual go-to whenever I go to S&S. It reminds me of my fave burger growing up - mushroom-swiss. This burger uses smoked gouda instead. The arugula adds a leafy freshness that is a nice change of pace from lettuce or spinach. Lastly, the roasted garlic mayo is a nice touch - I'm all for slightly fancy versions of common condiments!
