I ordered a three taco plate with a fried shrimp taco, an al pastor taco and an asada taco. The al pastor is spectacular. The shrimp taco is good and the asada taco is fine. I will definitely return for more tacos and to try different menu items.

I came here with pretty huge expectations after reading a review that said “best food I’ve ever had” - that was not the case for me. The burrito was luke warm, and while it was tasty, definitely wasn’t anything exceptional. Maybe I came on a bad day, I’m not sure. $15 for the burrito after tax.

Doomies NextMex is one of my favorite places to go to for Mexican food cravings. This quesadilla is extremely creamy and whatever they use for the chicken has an amazing texture.

I love the food at Doomie’s, but this particular taco wasn’t my style. I appreciated the creative effort on this one, but the taco was salty with not a ton of unique or specific flavor. Would have loved to try it hot and fresh at the restaurant though!

I dream about these nachos all the time - like daydream about them. They are an adventure with so many toppings and layers of deliciousness. The carnitas are super flavorful (and not made from jackfruit!) and between beans, guac, and pico, there is a ton of #vegan queso and crema that is so good. My fave dish from Doomie’s.

The beef taquitos are not worth it alone as you only get two. However, get it in a combo and you get a healthy dose of rice, beans, and a salad next to the crunchy delight of the taquitos. They’re perfectly topped and while it’s not the best item in the restaurant you’re gonna get your value’s worth here. It’s great for anyone that loves values and vegan Mexican food.

If you are vegan and you want Mexican food and you don’t come to Doomies NextMex I feel like you need an immediate return trip. I personally love their wet burritos and especially their pollo imitation meat. This is an entire meal unto itself and it’s worth every penny. Give it a try and you’ll keep coming back.
