Woops forgot to post these Chinese radish/taro "cakes" that came with our meals! Radish pudding usually has dried shrimp although I think normal taro pudding is already vegan (or at least vegetarian). These taste exactly like their traditional counterparts.

This is another one of the half price sets at this vegetarian restaurant. The sweet and sour "pork" is made from monkey head mushroom, not mock meat. The texture is chewy and the sauce is good, although the mushroom flavor comes through too strongly so it doesn't feel like authentic sweet and sour pork. Still a nice dish with good portion though!

One of the half price ($34) dishes from this vegetarian restaurant. It's a bit spicy from the XO sauce and I wish there were still some veggies, but it's a good sized portion and satisfying.
