Pleasantly surprised to discover that their salad bowls are so vegan-friendly, and that the choices are well-seasoned and thoughtfully curated (no sad plain beans straight from the can). Opted for summer barley salad as well as multigrain and seeds as the 2 bases, soy tempeh steak with arrabbiata as the protein, roasted turmeric cauliflower and grilled zucchini as the 2 vegetables, plus chickpea hummus as the dollop. 🥗🧆 Ridiculously delicious, satiating, and nourishing! Would honestly consider this one of THE best grain bowls I've ever eaten. The “Balanced Bowl” options at Gastronomia are so tasty! They are served cold from their salad bar and have two size options. The smaller option (starts at $14.90 SGD) is a great portion size for lunch. You choose your grain and base options - I chose vegan cauliflower rice and mesclun salad here. Then you choose two vegetable options - The roasted turmeric cauliflower and poached broccoli are delicious!! Then you choose a protein - the baked quinoa falafel with caramelised onion is so tasty. And finally you choose a “dollop” of whatever sauce or dressing. I went for tomato salsa, but I really recommend the cucumber & mint yogurt dip, too! There’s some great veggie options at the salad bar and the food always tastes very fresh. 5/5 😃👌🏼👍🏼💚

Love it 😍, possibly my most favourite salad thus far! $13.50 for 1 grains & base : vegan cauliflower ‘ryce’ 1 proteins: vegan baked quinoa falafel with caramelised onions -> so flavour packed with strong cumin smell and taste amazing!! Love it 💯 2 vegetables: kale, broccoli stems & beetroot salad (Raw) -> couldn’t really taste the beetroot? And grilled zucchini-> 💯 Dollops: vegan chickpea hummus -> 💯 amazing! Such a divine salad, so much better than all those I have tried so far!
