A mighty fine dish bursting with flavour and nutrition dense - the perfect hot-Summer-day meal. And yes, I would absolutely have it again. All AITK plant-based meals are reasonably priced at around R90, and are freshly prepared on the day. There's also a well-stocked freezer of frozen meals should you wish to stock up. #supportlocal

If you love the traditional Italian flavours of a puttanesca then you will surely love this - brinjal, caper, olive, pepper in a flavourful tomato sauce. Served with a sweet potato mash made this the ultimate comfort dish. The portion size is just right for lunch, and it's good value for money (R88).

AITK does it again - reconstructed a traditional meat dish into a very tasty vegan dish. The lentil bolognese sauce (with lentils, tomato and carrots) coated the spaghetti perfectly and was topped with vegan cheese and fresh parsley. Surprisingly, it wasn't at all stodgy or heavy, and I had to stop myself from eating it all at once.

Ooh, another one of my favourite AITK dishes - so delicious. Served with edamame beans and brown and wild rice so it's gluten-free and low-carb. The tomato stew is super-tasty and the tofu was nice & crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I wouldn't change a thing about this dish.

I was expecting more Thai flavours than this delivered but I wasn't disappointed. The vegetable balls were so yummy and were perfect with the noodles. There was a hint of Thai in the sauce and the dish as a whole but it was more inspired than true Thai. I would have it again.

This was one of the nicest cottage pies I've ever had. The filling of brown lentils and vegetables (no mushrooms, thank goodness) was lovely and moist, and the potato topping was fluffy.
