We stopped here for #breakfast today. I cannot believe the prices. We each got a main and Jesse got this #oatmilklatte and after tax and tip it was $68!!!!!! We made a pact to not go back, as this was insane prices. We enjoyed our last meal here. The drink looked beautiful and Jesse enjoyed it. It was around $7.

This was a huge disappointment for me. I usually get an omelette when I go to Evviva, but this time I wanted to try one of their new vegan menu items. I've had some amazing vegan chick'n and waffles at other restaurants (I'm looking at you, Hogtown 👀), so I was excited to try Evviva's version... This is not worth the $22 price tag. I left hungry after eating this. It was more expensive than my usual omelette, and, well... you can see how bare the plate was. The portion of coleslaw was miniscule. The waffle itself tasted nice but was too crunchy. It was also not very dense (and therefore not filling) at all. The menu does specify that the chick'n is Gardein strips, so I wasn't surprised by that (I love Gardein), but I wish they'd have come up with something more original.

This dish was incredibly amazing #drool. It was perfect! The #hashbrowns were #crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They had a nice seasoning too! And so much! #abundance And the salad was so authentically pleasing lol. It was basically just arugula with some skinny slivers of beets and peppers, but the #watermelonradish was stunning. Okay, now the main show stopper. The Benedict! Just what can I even say?! How do I find the words?!? Magical! Mouth-watering! Crave-able! Drool-worthy! It had a buttered English muffin, sautéed spinach, a cornmeal encrusted tomato and the most magical #vegan eggs with a heavenly hollandaise sauce on top. Sprinkled with fresh chives and edible flowers. In the words of Lizzie Maguire: This is what dreams are made of 🎶 It was either $20 or $22, so it was wildly expensive, but worth a splurge every once and a while. This was so much food, I took half of it home. Love me a second-lunch!!!

We went to Evivva in Barrie with Jesse's family. We had never been to this location before and were BLOWN AWAY with how fancy it was! Soooo bougie!! #fancy I got the ceasar, and was shocked later to see that this was $11.75. Like what?! For this super small glass and no toppings except for one bean? That is the best part of a ceasar....the pickled things! #picklemetimbers This just tasted of spice. You could see they used too much horseradish. It just wasn't good. And for that price? I would not recommend this. At least it was #vegan ?

It's tough to choose between this omelette and the western. This one has more different ingredients in it (including mushrooms 🍄❤), but it doesn't have the soy bacon. I'll definitely be ordering this again in the future (and probably adding the bacon 😋). This is definitely not a cheap breakfast, but it's so darn good.

Yum! The smoked carrot lox in this is nice! I got my hollandaise sauce on the side this time so it wouldn't absorb into the rest of the food so quickly. I just wish the egg yolks had been runny as they are supposed to be. This seems to be an ongoing issue as everyone I've spoken to has had the same thing happen.

Description: Choice of scrambled tofu with peppers and spinach or two sunny-side-up vegan eggs, two strips of crispy soy bacon, Beyond Meat sausage patty, and vegan buttered toast. I really liked this dish, especially the soy bacon and the sausage patty. The eggs (I asked) are made of nutritional yeast for the yolk and tofu for the white. The look and texture was very similar to real eggs but the flavour was a bit bland. The toast was also delicious. I will definitely come back as the vegan menu selection is amazing, especially for breakfast, which is hard to find. And they serve regular menu too, so I can go with my non-vegan husband 😛 and everybody is happy!
