Oatmylk Chai Latte

At the end of a drizzly day of vegan food hopping around HSR, we landed back where we’d begun our day — The Digitale Chef. A masala chai was just what I desperately needed! I was super happy when Vinay, the chef/owner said he had spiced chai latte on the menu. I’d expected him to make tea on a stove the usual way, but then I saw him frothing up milk on his fancy coffee machine. When I expressed my surprise he said, “I make everything barista style.” Haha Though I normally take my tea with lots of water and only a splash of mylk, I enjoyed this frothy chai latte. The spice mix was a tad too high on the clove, so I couldn’t taste any of the other spices. But on that rainy evening it was soothing anyway. I was a few sips on before I remembered to click a pic for you. But I would’ve preferred a larger portion size. We also had a slice of the chocolate mousse cake. It’s so-so. I vastly prefer the chocolate truffle cake to it.
