7 Course Menu

A very high quality fine dining experience in this #fullyvegan restaurant in #Copenhagen 🌿 we had the set menu which included 7 fantastic dishes, all served with care and a detailed description of the ingredients. My favourite was definitely the foam dish with #mushrooms and charred #corn (picture 3), the intensity of the #umami and the smoked flavour of the corn were to die for😍this restaurant also (as they explained to us) has their own mushroom farm outside the city, so they have full control over their fungi production. It was all absolutely perfect, including the delicious cocktails prepared for us🍹

Little throwback appreciation post to the best dinner of my life at ARK. This restaurant has a Michelin Green Star. Very few restaurants in the world have earned this. If you are ever in Copenhagen, you MUST have this experience. Vegans are very often left out of fine dining. It is very expensive but EXTREMELY worth it. Your taste buds will thank you. The set tasting menu allowed me to try things I never would have otherwise. My favourite was the first picture- the sourdough crumpet with ricotta. I don’t what they added but the strawberry sorbet brought me to tears. One of the best food experiences of my entire travels. Exquisite!

I had the 7 course menu at the restaurant ARK by Souls in Copenhagen. It’s a 100% plant based fine dining experience so need to request the food to be made vegan. The food was amazingly delicious. My big favorites were the blue oyster mushrooms accompanied with lemon emulsion as well as the meaty Lions Mane mushroom. Big lessons = there’s so much that can be done with mushrooms! Also the chocolate mousse with the cherry sauce was the perfect end note to the night! The 7 course menu costs 495dkk// approx 67€ (excl. drinks), for a fine dining experience it’s definitely worth the money! The place was a bit too dark and music a bit too loud in my opinion but that didn’t change anything about the taste of dishes! Highly recommend!
