Fried Silky Tofu And Eggplant

The batter on the eggplant and soft tofu was done to perfection being light and thin with a subtle crispness, never chewy. It held the silken tofu together. Unfortunately, without the sweet chili sauce, it was all a bit lacking in flavour although the dish looked beautiful. Credit to the restaurant for having a separately printed vegan menu however this was produced only on request.
