The mix of flavors of perfectly ripe #avocado and #portobellomushrooms was sublime! The smooth, creaminess of the avocado and the earthiness of the filling was a delight to our tastebuds. And what about the #edibleflower?
The décor was festive and we learned that Cristi (part of the dynamic duo who run this spot) had made them herself. So creative! As was the bill being brought to the table in a traditional, oversized castañeta.
This was our second of three visits in a week while on vacation, which speaks to the deliciousness and wonderfulness of this special place in La Frontera! It is located at the top of a volcanic hill with a lovely plaza, belltower and church in front. Jenny and Cristi make you feel right at home, they are so charming, personal and passionate about what they do! The restaurant as well is a relaxed but classy terrace filled with personal touches.
