This was a very satisfying and affordably-priced vegan version of char siew noodles! The char siew had the right amount of "char" in it. The noodles were springy and done to perfection. The sambal belacan tasted very authentic more
The paneer, which I think was tofu-based, boasted a heady tikka flavour but lacked creaminess. The sauces were a bit excessive, finished probably half of it, otherwise it would have been too jelak. Very unspectacular dish more
Interesting interpretation of a burger, taste-wise is not that amazing, but the sides were fresh and crisp especially the battered cauliflower
Rice was well flavoured, and vegan duck had nice texture
Good and cheap meal at Holland Drive food centre. Flavour of the tea was rich and aromatic. Portion was a bit small though.
This is only the second time I've seen enoki mushrooms done this way as a garnish - stripped apart and deep fried. The first was at this bougie yong tau foo place in Bt Merah. The "cheese" sauce was nicely tangy but tasted more
Another purportedly calamansi flavoured dish that didn't deliver on its promise. Taste wise this drink was unspectacular and didn't stand out from a typical earl grey. But it was refreshing all the same and presentation was nice.
The calamansi chili potatoes sounded better than they tasted, I could hardly pick out any notes of calamansi. But the potatoes were done to perfection, not too crunchy or too mushy, which not many restaurants can get right. more
Tasted very much like the non-vegan version, even the fish cake tasted like the real thing. The only thing I miss is the cockles!
Got the sourdough, but it came in one large piece. Wasn't the most convenient to eat, they could consider having sourdough croutons or something instead. Otherwise the meal was delicious
