Just went to Chiang Mai and had amazing and cheap vegan food! This place is on the same street as my hotel and is open from 8-4, Mon to Sat. Khao Soi is a signature Thai dish with flat yellow noodles in curry with delicious crispy noodles! Traditionally served with meat. This curry was not too spicy but there weren't as many ingredients in it as I expected, had more carbs. Wasn't very "meaty" it had some mock gluten I think. The crispy noodles are amazing! I got a side dish of bamboo shoots and tofu alongside it so I had more veggies. Also had a bun that I ate on my flight back to Singapore. This restaurant is run by Buddhists and has chanting playing and many statues on display.
