I think these crisps are spinach since they're leaves. I love crispy fried stuff. Crispy and tasty, though unhealthy.

I had the fried noodles with dishes (bottom right) while my friends had dishes with brown rice. So impressed by the Thai vegan food! Each dish has many ingredients in them making them feel very nutritious and fulfilling. The noodles are the thin yellow ones. I had broccoli, vegan minced pork, bamboo shoots with glass noodles, and tofu scramble with vegetables. All at very affordable prices, I think 4 dishes for me cost just 70 baht (S$2.80). I especially enjoyed the bamboo shoots, which seem common in Thai cuisine. I find that they use more whole foods and less artificial tasting mock stuff. The dumplings and mock balls were quite bland to me so I didn't enjoy those as much.

A nice soothing clear vegetable soup with thin yellow noodles. Had quite a few different ingredients of tofu and mock meat and I added vegan minced pork. The food in Chiang Mai is cheap and good, very impressive. It feels quite clean, not artificial tasting either.

Just went to Chiang Mai and had amazing and cheap vegan food! This place is on the same street as my hotel and is open from 8-4, Mon to Sat. Khao Soi is a signature Thai dish with flat yellow noodles in curry with delicious crispy noodles! Traditionally served with meat. This curry was not too spicy but there weren't as many ingredients in it as I expected, had more carbs. Wasn't very "meaty" it had some mock gluten I think. The crispy noodles are amazing! I got a side dish of bamboo shoots and tofu alongside it so I had more veggies. Also had a bun that I ate on my flight back to Singapore. This restaurant is run by Buddhists and has chanting playing and many statues on display.
