Shakti Food is a restaurant that serves a fully plant-based menu. When they welcomed us they explained they don’t list their dishes on the menu because they usually have a tasting menu that changes constantly and some dishes are “hard to explain”. For us it was fine because we wanted to do the tasting regardless, but we found the explanation to be a little odd. In the menu they had a lot of pages dedicated to random information (like how the vibration of the food we eat impact our health, or why drinking Coca Cola is bad for you) but nothing about the dishes they served 😅
The place is very neat, it has a nice atmosphere and the staff is kind.
We opted for the 5-course menu and this was the appetizer: it had a small salad (delish), a small tempeh skewer and a “potato hummus” as they called it. Everything tasted good but the little salad was probably the thing I enjoyed most.
The overall price for the tasting menu was 39€, not including beverages and service fees.
