Suzy Q is super popular in #ottawa for its creative, light donuts (as opposed to the denser donuts you’d find at Maverick’s). They always have at least one vegan option and you’d never know you were missing out on any ingredients.
The Mangoconut donut is described as “a vegan-friendly doughnut filled with coconut cream, dipped in mango glaze and toasted coconut chips.” It’s my favourite of the vegan ones I’ve tried - the cream filling is delicious, the mango glaze is subtle but sweet, and the toasted coconut adds great texture.
These are $5 each which may sound expensive for a donut, but it’s not bad for a very filling treat. I can typically eat this in two halves because it’s so decadent.
