Aside from the initial shock of the slapped-on presentation and the paucity of the croquetas in respect to the price, these were a prime example of vegan fine dining. The outside was crispy, yet thin and delicate so that the whole thing just melted into your mouth. The leek and mushroom were a beautifully creamy combination that bordered on divine. The taste was so lovely I really hated how small this serving was- I just wanted more and more!

This was a new deconstructionist take on ensaladilla! Instead of a mixture of cubed potato and other vegetable pieces in cream, it was just potato and broccoli mashed up together roughly, with the cream spooned over the top with edible flowers. It was very pretty and delicious too. The atmosphere was kind of a downer though. The vibes in the restaurant were quite cold and minimalistic, and I was told to get out not long after having just finished my meal when it was clear I wasn’t going to be coughing up any more money for them. A word to the wise- maybe don’t walk in looking like a poor uni student like I did 😅

Como veis es bien gordita, llevaba puerro y pimiento y además podías elegir una salsa; yo escogí alioli. Me encantó este local, su decoración y su filosofia; la única pena es que no tengan más sitio para sentarse, porque solo hay un par de taburetes en la barra.
