Ordered take out from Vegetables pop up Burger Plant. Sooo good! Got the portobello philly burger, Mac & cheese, tomato and basil bisque, onion rings, waffle fries, strawberry banana milkshake, peanut butter and jelly milkshake (literally tastes like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich) and some VYBES CBD. 10/10 recommend! 💯

“Brussels sprouts, arugula, baby spinach, sweet red onion, organic eggs (we subbed the vegan option) etc. with warm sweet corn bread, mushroom & sweet onion gravy.” While I could have eaten more onions, my companion thought it was great as is. The egg sub here is an Australian brand, not available at retail here yet, and whatever it is, it’s fluffy and buttery.

I’ve eaten this a dozen times but never reviewed it, which is shocking. MUST TRY. “Toasted olive oil herbed focaccia bread, mushroom & sweet onion cashew cream ragu, herbs.” Today’s version was different than I remembered, both the bread and gravy, but totally delicious and satisfying. However I must register a complaint that this isn’t what “ragu” means at all.

This place does serious trade in Brussels sprouts. I’m probably a bigger fan of the balsamic version with pears and onions, but this was delicious. I need a coin toss. With walnut Parmesan, smoked sea sal, truffle oil (could have used more truffle oil really).

Ordered the vegan version with the chickpea egg sub of course. It’s mushrooms, potatoes, sweet potatoes, bell pepper, jalapeños, topped with arugula and charred Brussels sprouts. Lovely. It was so good the table next to ours ordered it too.

[Note this is the vegan option not the standard menu version which has chicken eggs] From the menu: “slow-cooked soft scrambled [vegan egg], [someone’s packaged vegan cheddar], housemade cashew mayo, sliced tomatoes, panini pressed olive oil herbed focaccia.” This was delicious. And messy. Again the chickpea egg substitute is good, though the cheese was a little underwhelming. Whatever they use for their grilled cheese would be much better.

One of the must-haves. Crispy little dudes with “red d’Anjou pear, sautéed red onion, bread crumbs, balsamic reduction, lime zest.” Perfectly roasted every time. And yes, the chef here is VERY into putting balsamic reduction on everything. Deal with it.
