A few months ago I ordered something else from their #flowertea collection (lemongrass) and got served the thing with a beautiful little pot. Not this time 😏 And I only ordered the tea for that reason (and #forthedollar 😛), so that was disappointing. The #roselle came out rather sour, I don't even know how 😐

The naming is a bit ambiguous but I can confirm it - it is #whiterice rather than basil rice; the #basil leaves go into the stir-fry with the #fakemeat #mince (#jackfruit I think it was 😯) The #padkrapow had decent flavour and was rather #spicy on account of the use of #chilli 😋 But really they could have left the large bits of ginger out of it, really unpleasant to bite into. Ditto the celery of which I've never really been a fan 😖 RM15.90

The name means #mousetail #noodles, but rest assured that it's fully vegan 👌 Not my favourite shape, because the thickness of the flour means the flavour doesn't always permeate right through 😐 But this came with a thick slurpy sauce and a real bounty of ingredients. From the #mushroom shreds masquerading as chicken, to the #carrots and various vegetables, this was pretty good value at RM14.90 #diningwithchopsticks #malaysianeats 😛

Actually rather good! The #coffee was really 浓 and packed a punch 😋 Or maybe I was just thrilled to be back on #teamblackcoffee 😛 They ask if you want sugar or not; I told them I wanted double 😁 Comes with a paper straw for RM7 if hot, RM8 with ice. There isn't much to choose from here unless you're into Chinese teas or supermarket canned drinks or stuff with dairy/honey in it 😬 Would probably pick this again.

Another day, another #panmee ☺️ This is a good pick if you like your #noodles with soup and almost #herbal in taste. Not quite my thing but I can see some people really loving this. The generosity of the ingredients was just incredible. Iirc this cost RM12 so to get that many items in it (#mushroom, #seaweed, #carrot, #fakemeat, fake #ikanbilis, #doumiao, and #taukee 🤤🤤) was just fabulous. #diningwithchopsticks #malaysianeats see what I did there 😉

Okay flavour, but the texture of the #aubergine was really off. It was chewy and solid, as if it hadn't been cooked for long enough 😐 Decent accompaniment of beancurd skin strips in this #stirfry. Not spicy at all ☹️

Impressive vegan 三层肉 👍😋 The #porkbelly was reasonably realistic in taste and texture, and the sauce was a good complement. There was #beancurdskin, #blackfungus, #babycorn, and various sliced root vegetables. The promised #saltedfish was limited to a few cubes of this dodgy looking substance, which wasn't particularly salty or fishy, but which instead brought a nice dash of black bean/wok hei 🙂 They do use non-plastic receptacles for dry dishes, which this unfortunately wasn't 🙁 They use egg and dairy in their cooking but they're more than happy to accommodate dietary stipulations, see 4th picture 🙂

#wantanmee with #charsiew was one of my favourite #brunch items when I was growing up. In adulthood I've reduced the dependency by way of palate diversification, but reacquainting is always nice, especially when the here and now is vegan 😚 There's #seitan #fakemeat which they crisp up and drench in this delicious sweet sauce 😋 That alone made the dish, I almost forgive them the sneaky phrasing wherein wan tan mee ostensibly referred to the type of #noodles rather than noodles accompanied with little dumplings 😒 With just some mushroom, vegetables, and cut chilli on the side, RM15.90 is a teeny bit steep. But arguably worth it because this is a good effort 🙂 #veganisnotscary #diningwithchopsticks for #malaysianeats and #mahathirisfullofshit 🥱

Can't believe I haven't visited here before. Now I've got a spot to go to after my visits to the bank next door. Great selection of favourites on the menu. This dish was was nice and spicy, the soya 'chicken' was meaty along with a generous portion of veg. Looking forward to trying out the other menu items.
