Really creative deconstruction of a lemon-blueberry cheesecake. This dessert consists of a serving of “cheesecake” in an almost cup-like form, alongside blueberry sherbet, lemon curd, blueberry gelee (cubes of blueberry jelly), vanilla crumbs, fresh blueberries and a piece of almond/sesame brittle. Despite the use of the words “sherbert” and cheesecake, we were assured the dish was vegan. Outstanding flavour, worth the trip to Gio by itself. If you go, try the “Vegetable” main, also delicious and vegan.
