☕️ I enjoyed my latte here knowing it was certainly #vegan in a #fullyvegan 🌱restaurant. #ditchdairy I regret not trying the masala chai latte or the basil and mint #kombucha but I do enjoy a latte at the weekend. This #brunch was superb and I’d happily go back next weekend. I resisted trying the pancakes 🥞🫐somehow so those are still on my list. I thought it was divine and heaven for a #sweettooth lover like me. My partner thought it was too sweet doh. It comes heated ♨️up which is top class and then worth the £4.50 in my opinion. It’s a social enterprise here training and employing some learning disabled and neurodivergent staff so it’s all for a great cause. 🥐 Mmmmmmm. The pastries came at the same time as the food and had been warmed up to toasty perfection. It was tough to know what to eat first at this #allveganrestaurant. I loved this #croissant especially toasty warm but had to take half home which was the original plan anyway. This place is a social enterprise training and employing learning disabled and 🧠neurodivergent staff. Very cool and they are trying to do everything as sustainably as possible composting all their food waste themselves. It’s very cute upstairs with a painted ceiling like the ⭐️🌃starry night and cute garden 🪴out back. My partner ordered the #fullenglish here and liked the possibly chive butter and homemade sausage. There was also spinach🌿, beans🫘, scrambled 🫛tofu, 🍅tomato, glazed 🍄‍🟫portobello and sourdough🍞 toast. Everything is #homemade here. It’s a super healthy and filling breakfast for £14. They are almost a non-profit training and employing 🧠 nuerodivergents so your money💷 is going to a good cause. ⭐️🌃 #veganrestaurant that I’ve been wanting to try for ages that trains and employs people with learning disabilities or who are neurodivergent. This is the main focus rather than making money so it’s more of a non-profit. The perhaps owner/server shared he foraged the wild 🧄garlic in the countryside to make the pesto on this awesome and original dish. I loved it! They make everything here and I really enjoyed it all. It felt slightly lukewarm for me which is my only complaint. It was fairly busy though. This was such a balanced dish with the #spinach 🌿 #mushroom 🍄‍🟫 #beans 🫘#pesto and #sweetpotato 🍠fritters. It was healthy and filling for £12.50. I wanted the pancakes 🥞too but went for the more original dish. I’d love to come back here and try their Sunday roast which has the illusive vegan Yorkshire pudding. #yorkshirepuddings Upstairs is super cute with a starry night inspired ceiling, lights and plants. Cafe Van Gogh is a restaurant that is not only 100% vegan but is also a not for profit social enterprise that gives back to the community. I've been wanting to visit Cafe Van Gogh for the longest time and my experience didn't disappoint. It's located in a church building and I completely walked past it whilst looking for it. The ground floor is where you can see the variety of pastries they have to offer and the seating there is more for walk ins. The floor upstairs is accessed by a cute spiral staircase where there are many tables for reservations for main meals. On this visit, I got the shakshuka which came out beautifully presented. The table had a table lamp which was perfect as I positioned the light over the food for my abillion picture haha. The dish was so yummy, had great flavour and garlic butter flatbread is one of my favourite things anyway so had zero issues there. Was very satisfied with this and would love to get it again but I also need to try their other dishes! It was priced at £11 and a gluten free option is an extra 50p. #socialenterprise #nonprofit #vegancafe

Lovely treat to go with a coffee. Especially when Warmed up. This was Absolutely beautiful. Beautiful vegan cafe and social enterprise in brixton near Van Gogh’s house. Lovely outdoor garden, with an area to lock your bikes. Amazing food and beautiful staff. Their have separate menus for weekday dinners, Saturday brunch and Sunday brunch, so you might have to visit them a few times 🤷‍♀️. More importantly, the cafe works with a learning disability employment charity. Here’s a vegan cafe that has extend their ethic beyond their menu, and place people over profits in the name of mutual aid and social justice. This toastie was listed as :Pulled shiitake, grilled ‘cheese’ and spinach brioche sandwich with bourbon ‘bacon’ Jam and chipotle sauce. everything you need to know is probably in the name, other than the fact that it is hella delish. I really like how the shrooms were flavoured and cooked. The vegan brioche was a delight too.
