I wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't had quiche since turning vegan. This was delicious. A good form texture, and developed flavours. Better than "trad" quiche in mouth feel and taste. I had it with Plant Pioneers coleslaw, home made potato salad made with vegan mayo, lettuce, tomato and spring onions. It would've been nice to serve with a dollop of Heinz vegan Salad Cream, but it seems Heinz discontinued that unfortunately.
Very nice. It might be nice if the texture could perhaps be a little firmer when eaten hot, but very nice. A family member bought this for me and, remembering how rich it tasted from a while ago, I was thinking ‘oh no, they’ve bought me something no vegan’. I was surprised to remember that it IS vegan! It was £3.75 but reduced to £1.99 and contains 3 (4 small?) portions. Not cheap but i think thats probably a normal kind of price for quiches aside from the basic supermarket types so I can’t complain. #quiche #tomatoes #cantbelieveitsvegan
Tastes really good. We don’t have vegan quiches in supermarkets back in France so it’s quite nice to get them here in England.
