The Very Good Butchers Smokin’ Burgers are deliciously smokey and have a great consistency. Their healthiest ingredients include Organic Adzuki Beans 🫘, Barley, and Oats, versus just wheat gluten. I recently bought this product from the very good butchers and let me say the taste is definitely a better taste than most veggie burgers on the market. The price was good because I ordered a box and got more products. The veggie burgers are fried up and can be eaten any way you want. The texture is similar to the beast burger.
Great take on the veggie burger. This product is a good burger with the exception that it's not as tasty as the Beyond burger. The benefit though is that is healthier than a beyond burger too. It's seitan based (wheat) instead of pea protein. The burger is more prone to falling apart, which is why I gave it less of a score on presentation. For obvious reasons, it's best to cook from frozen instead of completely thawing it, otherwise it falls apart a bit during cooking and eating. It's also kind of on you to marinate it if it's not as flavorful as you want too. Good price point, and if you get it shipped, the shipping materials are biodegradable and recyclable.
