Black garlic is raw garlic     🧄🧄🧄         That people have aged under controlled high-temperature, high-humidity conditions for several weeks. The garlic cloves turn brown, then eventually black as a result of the Millard reaction .

In addition to having black cloves, black garlic has a milder flavor and a more delicate, sticky consistency than raw garlic .

Black garlic also offers a number of health benefits that may outweigh those of raw garlic, which hasn’t been aged.

Studies have shown black garlic may help regulate blood sugar, reduce the risk of gestational diabetes, and even prevent damage from uncontrolled diabetes.

helena12345 Yes I knew! I love black garlic! 😋 Unfortunately it’s harder to find… I found it at #bioplanet once (in Belgium)Reply
bandita I have a jar of black garlic cloves that I got about a year ago, sitting in my fridge because I haven’t found a way to prepare them in a way to enjoy it. I tried chopping them in small pieces, like I do with regular garlic, but they’re gummy-like and doesn’t fry the same tasty way. I’ve also tried boiling them into a broth for noodles, But still don’t know how to enjoy the actual cloves. 1 likeReply
