Chee Cheong Fun with Mushroom

This morning I wandered (as my first stop) to Marine Terrace to enjoy delicious handmade vegetarian/vegan chee cheong fun with mushrooms, garnished with tasty “chai poh”!

Soul food for breakfast! Prepared fresh upon order. Rice milled from scratch to create their own rice skirt before steaming. Smooth and silky. Superb quality that ready made frozen ones can never beat. Very nostalgic to me as there used to be something similar at the blocks I lived in MacPherson. Super affordable at $2.50. Not sure about the porridge but the other options are accidentally vegan (vegetables and chives) This was an amazing find! I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area. #veganuary
